Speakers of more than one language: volunteers wanted for research

Bangor University | 03.12.2015

Investigation into the degree of fluency disorders in speakers of more than one language.

Bangor University crestThe intention of this project is to investigate the degree of disfluency in speakers of more than one language, and whether there is a change in disfluency if language dominance alters.

The research is being performed by me, Nerys MacDonald, for my Masters dissertation in the School of Linguistics and English Language, Bangor University.

If you decide to take part in the study, you will be requested to complete a questionnaire. You will be asked to provide some background information about yourself such as age, gender, occupation. You will then be asked to answer 10 questions specifically about the languages you speak and the language(s) in which the disfluency is most prominent (if any).

All answers provided in the study will remain anonymous. The questionnaire should not take longer than 15 minutes to complete.

Participants will also be entered into a prize draw of £50 Amazon voucher.
